Right, we’ve finally got V2.0.1 out. This marks the first final release for a Windows version as well as an update to the Mac OS X version. Just a quick heads-up – for the moment, don’t upgrade from Garmin ANT Agent to Garmin Express. It looks like Garmin Express doesn’t keep a local copy of the files it downloads for your device, so there’s no data for iSMARTtrain to pick up. I’m investigating this further, and will hopefully have a solution soon.

We’re off the Club la Santa tomorrow for some warm weather training at Joe Beer’s (http://www.jbst.com) training camp. Hopefully, I’ll get a chance to get some decent biking & running in, while Gill relaxes by the pool. I’ll also get a chance to discuss iSMARTtrain’s development with Joe and Will, and some of our customers….

Interesting… Garmin acquires Dynastream Dynastream supplies the footpod technologies to both Polar and Nike for its Speed & Distance HRMs. Since these are a competitior to Garmin’s GPS based systems, it’ll be interesting to see how these products develop.
