Garmin 405 Mac Compatibility

Garmin have FINALLY released mac drivers for their Forerunner 405 – http://www8.garmin.com/fitness/getting_started_ant_mac.jsp.

This driver saves the session data from the FR405 as .tcx files in the following folder – /Users/your_username/Library/Application Support/Garmin/Devices/your_device_id/History. The .tcx files from here can be imported into the current release of iSMARTtrain using the ‘import’ functions in the ‘File’ menu.

We are, of course, working on a more user-friendly way of importing the data for a future release.
