V4.0.8 is released today. This release fixes a couple of issues with Mac OS X 10.11 (El Capitan) where iSMARTtrain had some problems accessing resources on the internet. You might need to update to this release manually by visiting http://ismarttrain.com/download.php, if the ‘Check for Updates’ option doesn’t show that an update is available.

Just came back here after a while and found the updated blog and beta release program. I’ve installed the v3.0.5 beta 14 release on a mac mini running 10.5.8 and am so pleased to see that downloads from my Garmin 305 are now working sweet — no more need for the Garmin Training Centre intermediate. So a huge thanks and well done on that!!!
One comment, unrelated to Garmin downloads etc. is that iSmartTrain doesn’t seem to know about auto-paused points in the data. Hence, if a session has say 2min of pause (i.e. when HR = 0, position is static and time keeps ticking) iSmartTrain doesn’t realise and so inflates (say) avg pace data by including the pause. An example is below:
